Isle of Wight band Wet Leg have today released their highly anticipated second album, ‘moisturizer’ – described as fun, freaky and fabulous, and showing off the live energy the group have honed through years of non-stop touring.
The new record promises to be punchier, prettier and more perverted where it counts, packed with manic love songs and sharp kiss-offs delivered by a band known as one of the UK’s most beloved oddballs.
Earlier this week, Wet Leg’s Tiny Desk Concert for NPR went live, marking their first visit to the Tiny Desk HQ. The special performance features a setlist of all new material, including two tracks from the new album alongside their last two singles: ‘mangetout’, ‘11:21’, ‘davina mccall’ and ‘CPR’. Back in 2021, the band filmed a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert from a pub on the Isle of Wight.
Wet Leg also made a triumphant return to Glastonbury last month, playing the Other Stage for the first time after shutting down The Park Stage back in 2022.
