The annual Christmas Drive-In Cinema is back for 2022, bigger than ever before with a new screen and a new location at The Needles Landmark Attraction.
The event has become a regular tradition for many families on the Island and is a great way to mark the beginning of the Christmas season.
This year the popular event will be held on Saturday 3rd December and Sunday 4th December at The Needles Landmark Attraction, featuring 6 Christmas films over the weekend.
The location is not the only new thing this year with films being shown on a bigger 9.2 x 5.3m LED screen. The Isle of Wight community chose this years’ featured films through an online survey with the results being some amazing classics. Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and Love Actually will be shown on the Saturday, and Home Alone, Arthur Christmas and The Holiday will feature on the Sunday.

“The Christmas Drive-In is a popular event amongst the island community and a great chance to cosy up with your loved ones, watch a classic Christmas film, enjoy some great food and raise money for Islanders affected by cancer.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone this year and with tickets already selling fast we’re confident it will be another sell-out success.”

- Elf (PG) – Gates open at 11:15, film at 12 noon
- How The Grinch Stole Christmas (PG) – Gates open at 15:15, film at 16:00
- Love Actually (15) – Gates open at 19:15, film at 20:00
Sunday 4th December
- Home Alone (PG) – Gates open at 11:15, film at 12 noon
- Arthur Christmas (U) – Gates open at 15:15, film at 16:00
- The Holiday (12A) – Gates open at 19:15, film at 20:00
They should do a Saturday night late showing of Die Hard.
Guarantee it would be a near sell out .
