The conditions will be almost perfect for tomorrow’s annual Walk the Wight, according to local forecasters IW Met Service.
Fairly cool temperatures will mix with long sunny spells to produce a glorious day across the Isle of Wight, just as thousands of walkers step out in aid of Mountbatten IW.
By late morning or early afternoon there will be some patchy cloud developing towards central and western parts of the Island and even though there is a very small risk of a light shower, most places will remain dry.
The wind will be blowing from the eastern quadrant for most of the day which means there will be no battling against the wind over the tops of the more exposed hillier areas due to the wind often blowing the same direction of travel.
The sun will be fairly strong so make sure you have plenty of UV protection!
