Following on from last Thursday’s incredible last race National Trophy victory over Mildenhall, the Wightlink Warriors return to league action again the Belle Vue Colts tonight (Thursday) at the Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde.
Boosted by last week’s win despite losing both Tyler Govier and Lee Smart after crashes in the first 5 heats, the Warriors are determined to make it 2 home league wins out of 2 and are urging their fans from both the Island and mainland to really get behind them once again as they did against Mildenhall.
Govier and Smart are both set to return to the saddle tonight.
The Belle Vue Colts currently lie third in the National League standings having amassed 11 points from the 6 matches they’ve had so far including an away win at Rye House.
On Friday, the Warriors travel to Somerset for a challenge fixture against the Exeter Falcons before welcoming the Weymouth Wildcats to Smallbrook next Thursday.
