Vintage buses will once again be trundling around the East Wight, courtesy of this coming weekend’s Wightrider event.
Wightrider offers a new look for the traditional autumn running weekend of the IW Bus Museum. It will feature vehicles from the museum’s own collection, as well as some visiting from the mainland.
The free buses will link various attractions, not only in Ryde, but further afield. This includes the IW Steam Railway at Wootton station. In addition, park and ride facilities will be available at the IW Donkey Sanctuary in Wroxall.
The Wightrider network is based around the museum in Park Road, Ryde, which features a gift shop and tea bar.
Services will operate from approximately 10:00-17:00 each day across Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October 2022.

We are REALLY looking forward to this; even the weather is going to play ball by the looks of it !
