Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are attending to the occupants of 2 vehicles following a crash on Dover Street in Ryde this evening (Tuesday).
2 ambulances and Police are on scene at the junction of Dover Street and Melville Street, alongside 1 appliance from Ryde Fire Station for scene safety.
A red Kia and a blue VW Transporter have sustained significant damage in the smash, which occurred shortly before 19:55. No one is thought to be seriously injured.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area with the road blocked in both directions.
