A technical issue on St Faith is causing delays of up to 2 hours on Wightlink’s Portsmouth to Fishbourne route this afternoon (Monday).
The delays follow the discovery of a technical issue aboard St Faith.
Wightlink has said that customers booked in today should still check-in as usual for their booked sailings.
A Wightlink spokesperson has said:
“We apologise sincerely for any changes to your travel plans.”
It gets worse, yesterday on the fast cat it was delayed for 15 minutes not due to fog as you may think but because they had to refuel !!!! That’s a new one, surely this is seen to before you run a service??? People missed important connections. Then they said they would make up the time but proceeded to go as slow as possible I am fuming, it’s a joke something happens every time now !!!
Since the pandemic staff cannot be bothered,
they only come awake on payday.
