UPDATED: Motorists are facing delays in and out of Ryde this afternoon (Wednesday) following a road traffic collision at Westridge crossroads.
Police are in attendance at the scene, where a SSE van and a Honda CR-V have collided. The crash occurred at around 15:00.
Traffic is currently unable to proceed from the Brading direction into Ryde via Marlborough Road, with all vehicles turning left into Great Preston Road or right into Bullen Road.
No one has been seriously injured.
Traffic is heavy in and around the area.
UPDATE @ 15:54 – Recovery of the vehicles has been arranged.
UPDATE @ 16:34 – The vehicles have been recovered and debris cleared from the carriageway.
