With the amount of people that didn’t have lights on this morning I’m surprised there weren’t more
Ahlie my bro some dumb guys on my life fam
Drive to the conditions would help.
Straight piece of road, visibility wasn’t that bad, speed too great again
Another rogue lamppost jumping out in front of people..
If it was so foggy that the driver couldn’t see the road then how did someone take a picture? I was out early, it was a little misty in places. More like on the phone. I’ve seen so many on the phone recently as they pull up to the traffic lights.
Well done to the guy in the golf… Hazards on and straight out to help…. Good on you
I agree with Ed, I came off the Park Road junction at 07:48 mere minutes after the incident took place and if it wasn’t for a vehicle letting me out I would have probably been hit by an oncoming car due to no-one, not even the lady letting me out the junction in a GREY car, having their lights on. People passing towards Lushington were too busy slowing down to nose at the crash that they were causing even more traffic set backs and potential hazards.
Luckily? for the person involved it wasn’t a cyclist or pedestrian they hit.
If it transpires that the driver was driving without due care, then they should consider themselves fortunate it will only be a fine and possible ban.
Where were the police in their roadside van making note of cars without lights on anyway?
It is pretty difficult to hit a lamp post on the pavement whilst driving with due care….
What was the difference between this driver and all the other drivers using the same road??…
given the number of cars with no lights on gives an indication of the number of cretins on the roads.
The visibility is pretty good as the camera shows, this accident could not be due to poor visibility. I drove past just after the incident there was some mist/fog it was no where near very poor driving conditions.
This incident happened for other reason/s, i.e not weather related.
Just missed the bus! Clear white line! Not paying attention?
