1 person has been treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation following an oven fire in Totland.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to an address on The Broadway at around 17:15 this evening (Sunday) following reports of a fire in the kitchen.
Firefighters from nearby Freshwater discovered that the small fire was out upon arrival, but the single crew used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
It has been confirmed that an adult sustained minor burns to their hand in the incident.
