A variety of top tribute acts are to headline the brand new Eklectica festival at Robin Hill this September, tickets for which go on sale this morning (Friday).
Eklectica is being marketed as a boutique festival and will slot into the traditional Bestival weekend following the event’s departure from Downend.
It has been announced that tribute acts to the likes of Elton John, Madness, Little Mix, Olly Murs, Duran Duran, Queen, Michael Jackson, One Direction and many more will all perform at Robin Hill near Newport on the weekend of 9th & 10th September.
It’s not all about the music though… visitors to the brand new event can expect comedy, spoken word, threatrical performances and even circus skills in the Amphitheatre. A mixture of side show acts will be dotted around the festival site and performances from local musicians are expected.

“We are very excited about putting on Eklectica. Over the last 12 years, the team at Robin Hill has gained considerable experience putting on major events including music festivals. September is a key date on the calendar for many Islanders and for many visitors too, so we took the decision to fill the slot and put on a brand new boutique music event with a difference for all to enjoy! Our aim is for Eklectica to be the party that ends the summer and we hope that this year’s event will be the first of many.”
A replacement for Bestival it is not, but Eklectica is set to provide a weekend of music-filled entertainment for the whole family.
