Following the success of ‘Just one Thing’ in 2024, the highly popular biennial business event is back on Thursday 25th June, this time taking over Quay Arts in Newport.
“Just One Thing” was developed by Dale Howarth, who will be joined by seven key note speakers, each promising a rare glimpse into the ‘one thing’ that has profoundly influenced them on their journey and enabled them to overcome barriers to achieve greater success. Once again promising a truly motivational, thought-provoking and inspirational business event. At the 2024 event, talks included, ‘Be the difference’, ‘What do you do again?’ and ‘Be brave, seize the opportunity!’.
Dale comments:
“Several well-known and respected business leaders will be joining me on stage, each sharing a single piece of advice with all those attending. The ‘one thing’ that has profoundly influenced them that they wish they wish they had known at the start of their careers. Rare insights and a valuable understanding that can help drive those in business to achieve greater success and change the context in which they do business.”
The event starts at 17:00, with an hour long reception and networking in the Quay Arts Café. Where delegates can enjoy complimentary refreshments while renewing friendships, forming new business connections and meeting the events speakers and sponsors, without whom this free to attend event would not be possible.
Sponsors supporting this year’s event are NFU Mutual, Luccombe Hotels, WightFibre, PC Consultants, Betapak Lifeline, The Island Tea & Coffee Company and Wightlink, in addition to Island Echo as one of the events media sponsors alongside The Isle of Wight Observer.
Following the networking reception, delegates will take to their seats in The Anthony Minghella Theatre to hear 100 minutes of fast-paced advice and wisdom that could prove pivotal to the future success of all those attending.
Delegates will also receive a specially prepared ‘Goodie Bag’ as they leave, as a thank you from Dale and the events sponsors for attending.
Dale adds:
“I am once again excited to be able to organise this event, to benefit the Islands business community and much needed in these times of uncertaintly. An event specifically designed for those new to events and networking through to experienced business event goers, irrespective of industry or length of time established in business.”
The event is free to attend, but with only 100 places available demand is expected to be high for this popular event, and therefore early booking to secure a place is recommended. Reflected in the fact that at the time of this announcement 40% of places had already been booked.
