There’s only a week left for groups to apply for assistance with cross-Solent travel through Wightlink’s sponsorship scheme – Wightlink in the Community.
The window for applications will close on Thursday 31st October 2024.
Sports and arts organisations on the Isle of Wight have been supported by the ferry company since 1987 when the first contract was signed with Ryde Rowing Club; the rowers are still supported today.
Wightlink in the Community focuses on groups which enhance the quality of life for Islanders, especially young people and celebrates their achievements on a dedicated Facebook page.
As part of Wightlink’s commitment to sustainability, environmental organisations working on the Isle of Wight which would benefit from cross-Solent travel support, are also encouraged to apply for sponsorship.
Full details of the scheme and an application form can be found on Wightlink’s sponsorship page.

Rather than waste money on sponsorship
reduce Ferry Fares for Islanders.
If Wightlink want to advertise I am happy to place
a Wightlink advertising sticker on my vehicle.
Good way of advertising Wightlink.
It’s a win for Wightlink and for Islanders getting
cheaper Ferry fares.
