Tickets for this year’s Wight Proms festival will go on sale tomorrow evening (Friday), organisers have announced.
To celebrate the event’s 5th birthday in this Platinum Jubilee year, Wight Proms is being extended to become a 6-day festival – between 16th-21st August.
Once again Wight Proms will be held in the grounds of Northwood House in Cowes, celebrating comedy, operate, musical theatre and of course ‘Last Wight of the Proms’.
Also this year, 2 shows will be making their debut appearance at the Wight Proms – the award-winning, live-action historical and musical comedy ‘Horrible Histories’ and Isle of Pride, with drag queen stars from RuPaul Drag Race UK.
The climax of the festival – The Last Wight of the Proms – will mark the Island debut for multi-platinum selling X-Factor stars G4, who will headline this year’s event accompanied by the Wight Proms Concert Orchestra for a rousing celebration of British music and flag-waving, including Pomp & Circumstance.
Early Bird tickets save 20%, when purchased before 31st March – plus no booking fees.
