The occupants of 3 vehicles have escaped injury following a collision on The Downs this evening (Monday).
Police were called to the scene at the junction with Brading Down Road at 17:45 after a Vauxhall Astra collided almost head-on with another vehicle, which in turn was involved in collision with a third vehicle.
It is currently unclear if a motorcycle was also involved in the incident.
The road remains open whilst recovery of the vehicles involved is arranged.
