Talented young mathematicians at The Bay CE School are celebrating after achieving excellent results in the prestigious UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Maths Challenge.
A total of 35 students in Years 9 and 10 took part in the national competition, which tests problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and mathematical thinking.
The UKMT Maths Challenge is renowned for its rigorous questions and high standards, with thousands of students across the UK participating each year. The Bay CE School is proud to support its students in rising to this challenge.
Several students at the school achieved outstanding scores, earning them certificates of achievement. The highest-performing students were presented with their certificates in recognition of their hard work and mathematical talent. Elijah received a silver certificate and was commented on for getting the best score in the school. Daniela also received a silver certificate and was the best in her year group.
