UPDATE: A yellow weather warning has been issued for strong winds, large waves and potential damage to property on Wednesday.

The Met Office is forecasting that gusts of 80mph could be experienced here in the South between the hours of 00:05 and 22:00.

As a result of the gusty winds, combined with a period of high tides, it’s likely that some coastal communities will be affected by spray and large waves, whilst there is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown on to sea fronts, roads and coastal properties.
