Hovertravel have suspended their Ryde to Southsea passenger service this lunchtime (Sunday) due to adverse weather conditions.
Strong winds and choppy seas have resulted in the decision being made to halt hover services to and from the mainland.
An update is expected at 13:15, but this is not a guarantee that services will resume.
Passengers are being diverted to Wightlink’s Fastcat catamaran service from Ryde Pier Head to Portsmouth Harbour.
UPDATE @ 19:30 – Services have remained suspended throughout the afternoon and will remain suspended until tomorrow.
An update is due at 05:45 on Monday morning.
