There is still time to take part in the latest customer survey Island Roads is undertaking to gather residents’ views on the services it provides.
Island Roads is seeking feedback on all its services but is particularly keen to hear the public’s views on its summer season activities.
The survey was launched last month and residents have until Friday 18th October to register their views. The survey can be accessed online via https://islandroads.com/home/customer-survey-2024/
Paper copies of the survey, including large print versions, are available on request by emailing [email protected] or calling (01983) 822440.
An Island Roads spokesperson said:
“We have had a good response so far but naturally the more people who complete the survey, the better picture we get about how our services are perceived.
“Hearing people’s views helps us see where we are getting things right and also identify areas in which we need to improve.
“It will be interesting to compare the findings of this survey which is carried out during a period of particularly intense activity with the feedback received in the winter.”

There are so many issues with Island Roads.
Signage placing is very poor and confusing and
poor workmanship is another fault.
Have the Roads got better since Island Roads
took over from the likes of Crown Park, Mountjoy and
Dempseys!, personally I don’t think so.
Island Roads operatives seem to spend all day
parked up sitting in their vehicles, they don’t seem
answerable to anyone.
The other Companies would never have allowed
this.
I agree.
It was quite interesting in East Cowes a little few weeks ago. As I drove to the ferry, Crown Park were working in the top of Victoria Grove – they looked busy as I queued at the lights to get through the Island Roads sites on York Avenue. As I drove through I couldn’t get but notice, not one of them was working. Either having a chat, or sat in their vans. You see this a lot when your driving around the island.
When I returned the the Island mid-afternoon, I queued at the lights. Drove through the Island Roads site – nobody in sight. Packed up for the day. Gone Home.
Drove past the Crown Park site on Victoria Grove, teaming with men, looking busy.
Island Roads operatives are being paid money for
nothing, none of them could do a days graft
for Companies like Crown Park.
Crown Park are workers, Island Roads are shirkers.
I would sack the majority of them and start again.
Where are the Island Roads management team?,
they should be checking what their employees are
doing every day.
They are given an open cheque book.
I just can’t stop laughing………..
