Solent Grange Nursing Home on the Isle of Wight has been named winner of The Palliative Care Team Award for Residential and Nursing Homes (Independent) at The Palliative and End of Life Care Awards 2025.
The home, which is part of the Aria Care Group, saw its team travel to the Hilton Bankside in London last week (Friday 27th June) for the awards ceremony hosted by broadcaster and journalist Kate Garraway.
The national event celebrates the exceptional work carried out by individuals, teams and organisations across health and social care who help people experience both a ‘Good Life and a Good Death’.
Solent Grange – located on Staplers Road – was recognised for its outstanding teamwork in supporting people at the end of life, with judges praising the team’s dedication to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of residents.
