Rap legend Snoop Dogg wowed the crowds last night (Saturday) as he performed some of his best hits including 1994’s ‘Gin & Juice’ in front of an audience of up to 50,000 people.
The main arena was electric as some of Snoop’s best work to date bounced around the Bestival site including ‘Doggystyle’ and ‘Drop it like it’s hot’, shortly before performing a cover of Akon’s ‘I wanna f**k you’ while receiving a lap dance on stage.
Other acts to entertain yesterday including Bastile, Franz Ferdinad, Rudimental, DJ Fresh and Johnny Marr, who has been tipped as one of the best acts of Bestival 2013.
Saturday night was brought to a close with a version of Bob Marley’s ‘Jammin’ as Snoop Dog encouraged fans to “smoke weed”.
As Bestival draws to a close for another year, revellers look forward to tonight’s headliner as the one and only Sir Elton John takes to the main stage ahead of the Grand Fireworks Finale at 22:30.
