Shanklin Chine will re-open to the public on Thursday 2nd July, it has been announced.
The Shanklin-based attraction will finally open for the summer season between 10:00-22:00 each day until Sunday 8th November – weather permitting.
Access to the Chine is from the Esplanade entrance until further notice and for now there is restricted access to the PLUTO room and exhibition.
Shanklin Chine is one of the Island’s earliest tourist attractions, dating back to 1817.
Admission is £6.95 which includes 7 days unlimited return. Concessionary rates for children, families and mobility impaired.
Fisherman’s Cottage Inn will also be re-opening, in line with the coronavirus guidelines.

I for one can hardly wait. To pay to see a few trees and ferns amidst a trickle of water is a must for any Islander or visitors bucket list
Psst don’t tell the tree huggers
