3 local children have raised over £150 for Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat after selling homemade gifts on the seafront over the holidays.
The girls spent the week decorating stones and selling them along the revetment in Sandown near the lifeboat station.
Originally, the children wanted to raise £100 but smashed that total raising £150, with the money being presented to those at the station on Monday (29th August).
They have also raised money for Sight for Wight, Red Cross and currently Kissy Puppy.
Mark Birch Operations Manager said:
“We as a crew found this very heart-warming and were delighted to meet these amazing children,
