Mechanical issues and essential maintenance have led to a number of cancellations to cross-Solent travel for tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
Wightlink are currently experiencing an issue on one of their ships, meaning the 06:30, 08:30 and 10:30 car ferry sailings from Portsmouth have been cancelled tomorrow morning. The 07:30, 09:30 and 11:30 sailings from Fishbourne have also been withdrawn.
To enable overnight engine maintenance, Red Funnel have cancelled 6 crossings on Saturday night. The 18:00, 21:00 and 23:55 car ferry sailings from Southampton and the 19:30, 22:30 and 01:20 (next day) sailings from East Cowes have all been cancelled.
