RSPCA Isle of Wight is looking for new homes for 9 special working dogs – but these pooches are made of fibreglass.
The RSPCA would love to find Island business or venues who can help meet their unique needs.
These well-known Island characters are very quiet, house-trained, cheap to feed, (although they love cash), they don’t need exercising, and they love attention.
Over the years these dogs have been patted and cuddled so much they had begun to look very tired, and this is where the 1st Brighstone Explorer Scouts, came in, kindly offering some serious TLC to restore them to their former glory.
Steve Backhouse, Branch Director says:
“These dogs have had many homes across the Island over the years as a key part of our fundraising team. We are so grateful to the Explorer Scouts for their time and restoration efforts.
“Over several sessions they carefully cleaned and prepared the surfaces, priming and painting them in their fresh new colours so they can continue doing what they do best – raising money for vulnerable animals on the Isle of Wight.”
We are now looking for good homes for these beautiful, loyal friends so they can continue to support us with donations for our Animal Centre in Godshill.
If your business/venue would like to adopt one of our collection boxes, email [email protected] and we will consider you for adoption.
