A staff member being taken ill this morning (Sunday) has resulted in a revised Island Line timetable for the 2nd time this week.
It is hoped that disruption today will only last until 11:00, whilst tomorrow (Monday) an hourly service will be in operation until approximately 14:00.
Purchased tickets are being accepted on Southern Vectis Route 2 & 3 buses.
It was just a few days ago that crew illness caused issues on the Island Line – as previously reported by Island Echo.
A South Western Railway spokesperson has said:
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
