Reports of a man drinking a bottle of wine behind the wheel of a parked car resulted in a Police response to Ventnor yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary quickly descended on the South Wight town at around 14:30 heading straight for the location of the car – which was parked on High Street.
At the scene, officers found the vehicle but the male had left the area on foot and was not located by Police.
