Cross-Solent operator Red Funnel has been shortlisted for two prestigious customer experience awards in recognition of the enthusiasm, professionalism and high standard of customer service provided by its staff – the latest in a run of award nominations for the company.
Red Funnel is in the running for the best ‘Social Customer Services Team’ and best ‘Customer Experience Team’ in the London & South East Contact Centre Forum Awards. The aim of the awards is to recognise outstanding achievements within the contact centre industry.
To qualify for the awards Red Funnel had to demonstrate that its teams championed the role of customer service, helped team members grow skills and improve performance, and how they outperformed similar teams. The Social Customer Services Team award also considered the use of social media and how it had improved customer service and performance.
Murray Carter, customer service director at Red Funnel, said:
“I’m delighted our customer service teams have been shortlisted for these awards. We are passionate about delivering exemplary levels of customer service and it is rewarding to receive such recognition”.
Red Funnel’s team will now be quizzed during the final judging session by a panel of judges from the industry. The winners of each category will be announced at an Awards Gala Dinner on 22nd May 2015.
