Cross-Solent operator Red Funnel have cancelled at least 2 scheduled sailings on their East Cowes-Southampton vehicle ferry service this morning (Friday).
The 10:00 sailing from Southampton has been withdrawn due to a technical issue. The return leg from East Cowes at 11:30 has also been cancelled.
It is currently unclear if the issue facing engineers will be resolved before any other sailings have to be pulled.
Red Funnel apologises for the inconvenience caused to your journey.

Everything breaks down
Maybe the ferry has been hijacked….
Good, it will stop them coming down from tier 2 and tier 3 areas for a while.

O – its half term – lets cancel a few ferries!! Pathetic
Could they borrow one of those Tankers until the ferry is fixed, I’m sure the hijackers won’t mind helping out..
