Why would anyone vote for someone who does nothing for the island at all.
What do they do for anyone?
I filed mine nicely in the bin when it arrived.
Good job done, all are a waste of time, even our MP
is a part time MP.
We need an Island Based MP, not a tourist
Not being funny, but does it really matter?
A vote for the PCC is a vote for the workshy who contribute nothing to society. From an orderly queue now.
problem is, that if you don’t vote,.. one of them still gets in…
the position and the money spent on it won’t just disapear if no-one votes….
if you think it’s a waste of money,..better to vote for a candidate who has stated their intention to get rid of the position & spend the money on real policing….
Hardly, not even ‘local’ to the country, let alone the Island.
Who cares ? They do nothing for the island and cost a fortune.
This is a sentiment that seems to be shared by one of the candidates whose aim is to abolish the PCC and save £3m pa as a result.
so a vote for that candidate is a vote to get rid of the PCC and save £3m pa ???
…I’m in.!
Then vote Lib Dem.
no it is a ploy to get people to vote for him- once in, there would be a statement saying that despite every effort, the role could not be disbanded and he would continue to collect the salary for four years
You know to much

A rare occasion for most islanders to practice writing their signature without looking utterly stupid.
Doesn’t the police staion have a superintendant in charge ? That’s all we need on the Island, not some penpusher sitting behind a desk all day sipping on Iced Lates and raking in a huge salary just to tell us we need more officers on the ground…
What do they even do?
As long as it’s not the incumbent Jones, or there will be 4 more yrs of nothing ..and at our expense.. Islanders please vote wisely .. thank you .
Get rid of paper pushers…like this!
What a waste of money will nothing stop the gravy train
