To save a huge amount of staff hours and costs and the obvious error factor of tired eyes after viewing many hours of CCTV some of it of dubious quality hunting for something that may or may not be there, the police must have someone in their tech department who can write a simple algorithm in any of the many programming langagesto that runs a AI process that would accomplish the task without error and in less than a tenth of the time. .
Come back when you know what you are talking about.
And, yes, I do do this stuff for a living.
Really you are obviously fairly low down the food chain in IT, when you have ten years experience and a first class honours degree come back and we will debate it.
If we had a police force there would be a regular foot patrol around these times. But instead the Tories prefer tax cuts over policing.
He of very short memory. This as been going on for decades. How is the police supposed to patrol every street at all times.
Them overlanders here causing trouble again……
Would be really helpful if you included useful info like road names in your reporting?
It does mention the road in line 5 – Currie Road (Lake)
Like Currie Road? Ring a bell? In the editorial?
Great isn’t it?
At one time you have Police saying they’re not interested in Dashcam or Doorcam footage.
Then there are suggestions of possible prosecutions due to invasion of other peoples privacy…
Now, because it suits them..’can the Public help please’?
so funny because it was not my car
Huh it might be your precious car another night, your a selfish idiot.
Yep hopefully I drive without a license and I’m mostly pissed as well so yea I’m great boon
So many backward Fcukers on the island touch people’s vehicles
