UPDATED: Police are in attendance in Godshill tonight (Monday), where an incident is unfolding.
Several units are currently present in the village, near to the several restaurants.
A man is said to be acting suspiciously.
UPDATE @ 21:27 – Police are searching the Hollow Lane area of Godshill tonight, with several Police cars and vans congregated in the main public car park.
Unmarked Police cars are searching the rural lanes including Sheep Wash Lane. The road has been closed.
It is thought officers are searching for a male.
UPDATE @ 21:55 – Police have now left the scene in Godshill, however it is currently unknown if the wanted male has been located.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the male had a weapon, sparking the emergency response.
