Police have cordoned off a section of Cross Street in Ryde tonight (Friday) following an incident which has left blood across the pavement.
A cordon has been established outside a row of shops on the south side of the road between George Street and Union Street.
A significant amount of blood has been left in an alleyway which connects Cross Street with the Co-Operative car park.
1 person is thought to have been taken to St Mary’s Hospital with serious leg injuries, but it remains unclear as to how those injuries have come about.
Hampshire Constabulary are yet to comment on the incident.
