UPDATED: Multiple Police units and HM Coastguard are attending Culver Down near Sandown this afternoon (Wednesday).
Emergency services have taken up position at the top of the cliff having been alerted to an ongoing situation at just before 13:30.
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team are en-route to the scene.
UPDATE – A teenage man has been talked down from the cliff edge by Police.
Emergency services have now stood down.
