A number of Police officers responded to the scene on Pan estate but thankfully the child’s parents were located prior to their arrival.

Before anyone starts attacking the parents, remember it’s easy to misplace a child when you have another ten.

That’s a bit unfair, to Pan residents. Not their fault that birth control does not exist. More kids more Benny!

Wow!! How irresponsible of the parents not knowing their child has left the house! Very worrying. Thank god a decent person found him/her and not some horrible soul.

This hot weather a lot of people have doors and windows open, so it’s easy for a child to escape, without being noticed , if they perhaps wake up earlier than the parents ! The pictures show Barton Rd, where I was born, so not part of Pan estate, but I lived at Pan before moving to Bembridge, and it shouldn’t generate such nasty comments !

I’m sorry doors open or not you should always beware of the whereabouts of your children! Your their parent and that’s your duty of care to look after them especially at that age!

Yes even Bembridge now has social housing tenants. It used to be a far nice place years since.

Escape? It’s a toddler, not a dog. Shouldn’t even be in the garden on its own without somebody keeping a weather eye yet walking up the road on its own naked.

There is no excuse for this happening. Let’s hope it serves as a much needed wake up call for the nippers parents!

Quite clearly most of the people who are making comments on here, have never had children. Be sure of your facts before you accuse.

The real struggle will be finding out who the father is up Pan. Definition of confusion: fathers day on Pan estate.

To those being rude about Pan. Pan is rather a nice place really, ever been to West Howe Bournemouth? or Springbourne Bournemouth, or not too long ago Stonebridge Park Wembley? Thought not. You have not lived. Hope the toddler is ok.

Poor yourself another glass of wine sweetheart and keep looking down your nose over your keyboard!! Clueless judgemental people like you make me sick.

It’s one thing losing site of your child for a split second which is easy to do at times but having a child leave the house and wander the streets is a completely different matter that should never happen.
