A small blue car has been significantly damaged in the crash, which is thought to involve just 1 vehicle.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are on scene and are tending to the occupant(s) involved, thought to be a female driver.
The main road between Sandown and Newport remains open at this moment in time.
