A minor 2-car crash is causing delays on Newport’s Forest Road this morning (Wednesday).
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are on scene close to Forest View Nursery.
Police are also in attendance having been called to the incident shortly before 11:45.
Traffic is building in the area, with Southern Vectis advising of possible delays to their Route 7 service.
More stupid drivers that do not look or think… Hope they had eyes tested…

Probably caused by frustration…No doubt!! I’m sure theres a mission at the moment at Island Roads to see how many Road Closures they can implement at the same time, And how many temporary traffic lights they can get on the roads that are open..?!
I walk regularly on Forest Road and am very often appalled by the speed drivers travel along it. It often seems to be a challenge of how fast they can take the chicanes. That resulted in a car on its side on the pavement a few months ago. Better cctv coverage please!

I saw it happen. Guy not watching where he was going ploughed straight into the back of this car in front. Roads were busy enough without this happening.
