Platform One will once again shine a spotlight on eco-conscious design with its 2025 Sustainable Fashion Show, set to take place at Newport Minster in May.
The historic venue in the heart of the Isle of Wight will be transformed into a runway space on Friday 16th May, showcasing over 40 original looks created by students from Platform One’s Sustainable Fashion courses.
Guests will have the chance to explore student portfolios and exhibits before the show begins, highlighting the depth of creativity and innovation among both BA (Hons) and BTEC students. This year’s event will include full graduate collections and a celebration of Platform One’s first cohort of graduates.
A new collaboration with Style of Wight magazine has also been confirmed. Selected garments from the show will be featured in the publication’s July edition, offering a wider platform for student designers.
Organisers are encouraging attendees to embrace the theme by arriving in sustainable and fashion-forward attire, making the evening not only a celebration of student talent but of conscious fashion choices.
