2 appliances from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were mobilised to an address in Shanklin earlier on this morning (Monday) following reports of a person stuck in a lift.
Crews from Shanklin and Ryde were sent to Culver Road, off Arthur’s Hill, at just gone 11:15.
It’s didn’t take long for the person to be freed.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were also called to Naploean’s Landing in Sandown at just before 10:40.
