Residents of a street in Ryde found themselves shocked when a depraved pervert was spotted peering through their doors whilst exposing himself yesterday evening (Wednesday).
The man, whose identity remains unknown at this time, is said to have peered through the front door of a property in Nelson Road whilst exposing himself at around 23:00 last night.
Island Echo has been told by one of the residents of the address that she and her boyfriend had been relaxing in their home with the front door open due to the heat when their eagle-eyed neighbour ran over to their house in a panicked state, claiming that a man was outside the address and had been peering through their door whilst touching himself.
The neighbour went on to say that the pervert had run off after being disturbed and hid in an alley across the road. He was then seen again and chased off by residents of the street.
The disgusted homeowner told Island Echo:
“My neighbour opposite me came running over panicking telling me there’s someone outside my flat, but he’s run off now and hid in an alley over the road but he’s watching you….weird!
“He continued to tell us that he’d been watching some dude out of his window leaning up against the wall of our front door, he would have been about a meter away from me and I had no idea!
“He said he then ran to a neighbours window peeped through it for 5 minutes whilst touching himself!! we, at first didn’t believe it, we went outside looked around for a few minutes then saw a guy run from behind the exact alley our neighbour had said he’d hid behind and continue to run down the street away from us!
Article continues below this advertisement “Now I don’t know what this man wanted, and what sick kick he was getting but it worries me that so many people have their windows and doors open due to the heat! If it weren’t for my trusty old nosey neighbour then his know what would of happened!
“I feel proper spooked about this so I thought I’d share with everyone just to encourage people to be vigilant! Close your curtains and blinds you do not know who is watching you! This man could of been out to attack someone, rob someone, getting kicks out of watching women or children you don’t know but I do know he was certainly up to no good!”
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that officers received a report of an incident. A spokesperson said:
“We were called to reports that a man had exposed himself outside a building in Nelson Street, Ryde.
“This was alleged to have occurred between 23:00 and midnight yesterday (14 July).
“When approached, the man left the scene.”

Sex crimes rise during periods of hot still nights, its a known statistic but this stuff is unusual even for the glittered turd district of Ryde..probably a housing association import or one of the new locals.

Most real men would have dealt with this themselves knowing the courts IF it is ever caught would do nothing.
