UPDATED: Paramedics are attending to a pedestrian who has been involved in a collision with a car on Arctic Road, Cowes this evening (Friday).
Police and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were called to the scene at around 17:15.
Island Echo understands a female has been hit by the vehicle.
The road has been closed.
UPDATE @ 17:50 – No one is believed to have been seriously injured in the incident, however 1 female has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital by ambulance.
The road is expected to reopen shortly.
