Ice cream fans on the Isle of Wight are reacting to the news that Carousel are no longer making their Oyster Delight ice cream cones.
Local ice cream company The Plaza Ices took to social media earlier this week (Tuesday) to announce the news to their loyal customers.
Plaza says they have had confirmation from the manufacturer, The Waverley Bakery Limited, that they have ceased making Oyster Delights and that there are currently no plans to bring them back.
A charity auction for the remaining 2 oysters is underway on the Plaza Ices Facebook page.
Bidding closes this Saturday (15th March) with the winner able to collect their winnings from Princes Esplanade, Gurnard on Sunday (16th March).
All monies will go to Mountbatten Isle of Wight.
