A power cut is affecting more than 1,100 households and businesses in the Godshill, Roud, Whiteley Bank and Wroxall areas this morning.
The outage hit the South Wight at around 08:40 and is currently affecting 107 postcodes in the PO36, PO37 and PO38 regions.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks says that engineers are en-route and are expected to have the power back on by 12:00.
