English Heritage will re-open Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle to visitors on 4th July, it has been announced.
Those wanting to visit either historic attraction will have to purchase tickets online in advance, with a restriction on the number of people visiting at any one time.
Only those who have pre-booked will be allowed to enter the grounds and you’ll need to arrive during a specific time slot. If you’re an English Heritage Member, your ticket will be free but you will still need to book in advance.
As you would expect, a number of steps have been taken to ensure everyone’s safety with 2m distance marks, hand sanitisers and protective screens installed.
Tickets can be booked straight away ready for the big re-opening.

So you can book up and buy tickets, even though there is no 100% certainty that it will even be allowed to open. Ridiculous.
