A number of commuter sailings on Red Funnel’s Red Jet service between West Cowes-Southampton have been cancelled this morning (Friday). It’s said that an obstruction in an inner starboard jet unit limits the operating capabilities of Red Jet 6, which is already running on 3 out of 4 engines. As a result, the 06:05, 07:15 and 08:25 sailings from Southampton have been cancelled, alongside the 06:40, 07:40 and 09:00 sailings from West Cowes. It is unknown at this time if there will be any further cancellations throughout the day. Red Funnel apologises for the inconvenience caused.
