O2, Tesco and Giffgaff customers on the Isle of Wight have experienced a problematic weekend following mobile phone mast issues in the East Wight.
The network have confirmed to Island Echo that they were experiencing a problem with one of their masts in the Sandown area which started at around 20:30 on Saturday night. Although they say it was successfully restored by 13:30 yesterday (Sunday), a mast in Shanklin is still experiencing intermittent issues.
According to O2 a third party engineer is on the site in Shanklin this afternoon.
Readers have reported issues across the East Wight including in the Binstead and Ryde areas.
