The driver of a Ford C-Max has been stopped by Police for the 2nd time in 3 months for driving without a licence, insurance, tax and MOT.
Officers sighted the vehicle on Brading Road in Ryde this afternoon (Thursday).
Roadside checks quickly identified that the car was being driven on the Island’s roads illegally, with the investigating officer recalling pulling the same driver over for the same offences back in July.
The car has now been seized and recovered to the compound by Bartletts.
The driver has been reported for summons to court, where they will appear later this year.
He should not be allowed to drive for at least ten years, AND hit him very hard where it hurts him-in the pocket.
How will that do anything? Already not allowed to drive on the account of not having a licence. And fining them will do nothing as they will claim they have no money and only pay £1 a month. Driving offences should be paid for with real hard work. 200 hours of community work may work and a tag to stop him going out at night.
Let’s hope the scumbag gets a decent sentence !!!!
Those of us who pay for insurance mot etc , shouldn’t have to pay for the thieving scum …..who drive illegally….

Probably was, however, if the owner can take along somebody who holds a full licence and has insurance for that vehicle, even for just a day, after all fees are paid the vehicle would be released within a certain time frame.
This is not unusual to happen the only thing is that the insured person cannot use their own insurance for their own vehicle even if it states they can drive any other vehicle with the owners consent, my only thought on this is, that the person reported would have to continue to have the vehicle insured even if parked on their drive unless it is SORN.
Weak sentences are given nowadays BECAUSE our prisons are filled to bursting with the world’s even worse crims.
This is the reason why people re-offend as they know that the courts can’t jail them unless worse or as bad as our imported problems, but no-one in authority dare say so, as the race card is stronger than the law now.
WTF, these people absolutely disgust me, I have to pay road tax, mot, insurance. How do you think it’s acceptable to not pay for this???

Enough is enough. Take the car, crush it or sell it and give the money to a charity. Just don’t give the idiot their car back for Christ sake.
