Firefighters have been called to reports of a field fire in Carisbrooke this evening (Tuesday).
2 appliances from Newport Fire Station have been mobilised to the scene on Alvington Road, off Middle Road.
A straw field is on fire, according to Hampshire Fire Control.
Crews were turned out to the incident at just before 17:55.
