43-year-old Richard Moore of Newport has been charged with attempting to groom a child and attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
The Islander was arrested by Police at Portswood Road, Southampton on Saturday afternoon following an online sting by the group ‘S.K.I.D Community’. A video captured by the group has shown the moment Moore was confronted.
Richard Moore was remanded in custody over the weekend and appeared before magistrates yesterday (Monday), where the case was adjourned to the Crown Court on 5th February.
