Newport Fire Station will be opening its doors to the public for an Open Day on Saturday 23rd August, between 12:00 and 16:00, offering a range of activities for all ages while raising money for charity.
Families attending the event can expect ‘have a go’ activities for children, a live fire service demonstration, and the chance to meet firefighters and other emergency service teams.
The community-focused event also aims to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity through a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses in Newport.
Fire service personnel will be on hand throughout the day to engage with the public and showcase their work.
